Uses Asia-hotels.com to Offer Hotel Reservation Services

Hong Kong, Monday,
March 13th, 2000 - Reuters City-Hong Kong, the revamp Reuters intranet,
www.rcityhk.session.rservices.com,
is using Hong Kong-based asia-hotels.com to offer hotel reservation
services services to Reuters 3000 subscribers. Re-launched on March
6th, Reuters City-Hong Kong features a comprehensive hotel guide and
reservation services for hotels and resorts in 17 countries across Asia
provided by asia-hotels.com.
"We are glad
to have asia-hotels as one of our content providers, " commented
Jeremy Harris, managing director of Reuters Hong Kong. " They can
offer tailor-made hotel packages to our customers efficiently and economically.
We will continue to look for providers who can offer other value-added
services to our customers.
By the end of March,
all Reuters customers will have access to this site via the Internet,
at www.rcityhk.reuters.com. Other
services offered on the websites include City Life, Business Directory,
sports.com, Who's Who in the financial market, Reuters product training
schedules, freewave library schedules, product hints and tips, plus
links to other useful Reuters websites.

Internet travel services to an important target market," commented

of our market, by room nights, is generated by the business traveller
and we pride ourselves in offering value-added services, such as quick

recently announced agreements with Pacfusion, the new e-business unit
of Singapore-based Pacific Internet and Malaysia Online to offer online
reservations and has been accepted as a member of the Hong Kong Association
of Travel Agents.
