Result of a recent survey shows that The Peninsula, Hong Kong wins Best Hotel in Asia award again. Hong Kong and Thai hotels dominated the top positions with each having 6 hotels in the top 20. The 6 hotels in Hong Kong are Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong; Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong; Grand Hyatt Hong Kong; Conrad International Hong Kong; and JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong.

Over 42,000 customers from 162 countries in asia-hotels.com joined the survey for Asias best hotels. There were 4 voting categories including The best hotel, Best business hotel, Best leisure hotel and Best resort. The Peninsula in Hong Kong took two awards, the best hotel in Asia and best business hotel in Asia. Thailand wins as the preferred Asian destination, Singapore Airline wins as the preferred airline and Changi Airport in Singapore as the preferred airport.
