Hotel winners: The Peninsula Hong Kong wins the Best Hotel in Asia award in the Customer Hotel Awards 2002
run by independent travel Web Site, www.asiahotels.com. More than 42,000 customers from 162 countries provided 115,000
nominations. The Peninsula Hong Kong received the most nominations to secure the Best Hotel in Asia award. The hotel also
secured the Web site's Best Business Hotel in Asia award. The Banyan Tree Phuket was voted Asia's top resort while the top leisure
hotel in Asia was the Oriental in Bangkok.
