Shun Tak AGM and Melco's investment in asia-hotels.com
At the Shun Tak Company Limited Annual General Meeting, Ms Pansy Ho, Managing Director, announced to the public about their future planning. She said that they will not put all of their money in hi-tech industry in the next two or three years, the investment will be less than 20% of the Company's capital. One hi-tech new project will be announced at the end of this month.
Hi-tech investment items for Shun Tak include Asia Travel Network, Cell Works Inc. and Beijing Technology Development Fund. Its subsidiary company, Melco International Development Limited, has invested in asia-hotels.com.
Ms Ho also said that the investment strategy concerning the hi-tech industry must be related to the Group's main business, such as shipping, hotels, or property.
