Boracay Is No. 3 Pick among Asian Beaches - pg. 3
HONG KONG -- Independent travel web site www.asiahotels.com, in
association with seven top resorts in Asia and SCMP.com, has launched
a search for Asia's best beaches.
Whitehaven in the Whitsundays, Australia, is the top pick from
the editors at asia-hotels.com. Its chalk-like sand positively squeaks
when you walk on it. The Maldives, with its collection of glorious
atolls, is their second pick followed by White Beach on Boracay
in the Philippines. However, do not take their word for it - nominate
your own favorite!
Users who vote for their favorite beach in the Asia-Pacific region
through the web site will automatically get a chance to win complimentary
nights in the Datai, Tanjung Rhu Resort and Pelangi Beach in Langkawi,
Malaysia.
Other prizes include free stays in Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia,
Friday's Beach Resort in Boracay, Philippines, the Tanjong Jara
Resort in East Malaysia, and Mutiera Beach Resort in Penang. One
lucky voter will also get round trip flights paid for.
To vote, go to http://www.asiahotels.com/awards/beach/default.asp.
Voting will close on June 30.
