| Guest comments | The location would be great and very near the Bund except that there is no easy way to walk to there or Nanjing Road area. It was very difficult to get a cab in front of the hotel at certain times of the day. The hotel decor and ambience is very unique and fun. | ||

| Guest comments | Executive rooms are spacious and very well equipped. Free internet, complimentary water, fax, ironing board. Lovely, luxurious bath with seperated tub and shower. Some of the deluxe rooms are huge, and give very good value for money. Good location with regard to the Bund, 3 minutes by taxi. But a bit away from other locations, although easily reached by cab in 10 minutes. Interesting history told by pictures and other information on the walls. This is where an electric light first was turned on in China! If you are interested in Shanghais history over the past 150 years, this is definitely the place to stay! Good value for the money, too.
