Clean and friendly hotel with a great breakfast. The only disappointment was the wifi that was unusably slow when it worked at all.

I've stayed here several times and my opinion has gone down:
1. I got a room facing the main road, first floor, very noisey. Somebody has to stay in it, but not what I want.
2. Cable TV didn't work properly for the 3 days I was there; the response was that it had been fixed but wasn't quite 100%. For a big hotel it seemed like a poor excuse.
3. "High speed" Wifi Internet is very, very slow.
4. Sauna was luke warm and no point using it.
5. I already knew this, but bear in mind the swimming pool is in fact a swimming bath...tiny.
6. Unless you get in early for breakfast (7am was fine) it is likely to be badly stocked and crowded (this was 10am; it's supposed to be served until 10:30am). Most of the food trays were empty and the staff couldn't keep up in replenishing it.
Overall at USD 90 a night I guess it's fairly cheap for the location and Rio isn't the cheapest city. It's an ok hotel, but I'll be looking for better value next time, even if it means paying a bit more.

I enjoyed my two-night stay at this hotel. The furnishings in the room were very basic, but it provided everything one may need for a short stay. The breakfast was decent and the service was friendly and efficient. At this rate this hotel offers excellent value for money.
