Guest comments	This is a superb hotel with a very intimate and tranquil feel, just on the outskirts of Ubud and set amongst beautiful rice paddies. It has an eclectic Balinese style which takes a little getting used to but which we eventually came to love. The service and inclusions are outstanding. With complementary mini bar and free beer and soft drinks at the pool bar, free cocktails from 6-7pm and complementary private transfers to and from Ubud any time you like, the hotel offers amazing value. Add to this the services of our own personal butler to arrange our excursions and dinner reservations, who along with the rest of the staff could not do enough for us, and we felt thoroughly spoiled. There are lots of good Ubud hotels, but they are either too close to town and don't therefore offer a rice-paddy view, or are too far from town making it too hard to nip in for dinner or shopping. Chedi Club is just right, and I doubt any of the other hotels could possibly match it for service and value.
