Restaurant Serving Continental cuisine with a Australian and Mediterranean flair, Plantation Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. You can also sip your favourite cocktail at the beautifully decorated plantation bar.
General The Hotel Cairns features a tour booking desk, a sparkling blue outdoor pool and spa, a modern state of the art cardio gymnasium and an onsite car park. The Hotel Cairns features a banquet space, which will comfortably seat up to 200 guests as well as a business centre with a facility of fax service and internet access.
Good location, walking distance to reef tours and railway. Nice room, and best of all was elevator from underground car park to the room floor. Rceommended

The hotel room was very pleasantly decorated in a modern style and was generally spacious and comfortable, although the bathroom was a little small. The location is a very short walk from the centre of town, but not so close that it is noisy. We did not use the pool - it seemed quite small and was located quite near to the road, so not v.tranquil, but not sure there was much of an alternative, given the location. My guidebook stated that there was a gymnasium on site, which there was not. Overall, a very good stay and would reccomend the hotel to others.
