| Guest comments | My husband and I enjoyed three nights in this hotel, which we found to be decorated in a modern style, with a choice of two restaurants, a bar and welcoming foyer. The hotel is centrally located in Canberra, easy walking distance to the city centre and more restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative comments are the lack of parking space outside the hotel - free on weekends, but only two hours weekdays, and our bed was rather uncomfortable. We still had a good time! | ||

| Guest comments | Room was a bit small and felt 'blokey' e.g, no tissues in room and hair dryer is kept in wardrobe due to zero storage in bathroom. | ||

| Guest comments | Well presented and comfortable. Several design and furnishing features in the room detracted from the overall experience (nowhere to store folded clothes; no door on the shower (floor and toilet got wet); airconditioner blowing directly on the bed; window didn't open; no restaurant or roomservice menus), but these are trivial things and generally the Diamant is a really beautiful place to stay. Fantastic bed, lovely towels, nice toiletries. Reception service was a bit detached and cool for a 5-star hotel, and added extras like a bathrobe/slippers would have been nice touches. The automated minibar was clever but left no room for personal items. The Parlour tapas/wine bar is sensational - I couldn't fault the design, furnishings, food, wine or friendly service. Truly excellent! Service and food at Du Jour (also in the hotel - our breakfast choice) was fairly good. I was thrilled with the [website] rate and if I could get a similar rate in future I would definitely book again. | ||
