Guest comments	I would thoroughly recommend the Metropole as a centrally located and well priced hotel. the rooms are not large but are well appointed. The pool and bar are excellent and the staff are very helpful.

Guest comments	We booked the Metropole for the first two nights of our trip in Vietnam. It was very nice, breakfast & pool were great but we could have got better value for the money. Reasonably close to backpacker area & market.

Guest comments	I stayed at the Metropole for the last three days of my trip. I had two days at a smaller hotel just around the corner for $35 per night The hotel was perfectly fine, maybe not as flash as the Metropole and did not have a pool. Considering all the hotels I stayed at in Vietnam I feel that the Metropole was a bit expensive, but I can't say a bad word about it. The only reason I stayed there was because of the pool!! Next time I would forget the pool and stay at a cheaper hotel, because they all have air con to cool you down from the oppresive heat!!
