It was a very good deal for the location it was in. If you don't plan to spend much time in your hotel and mostly go around to see the sights, especially if you're on a budget, this hotel is quite adequate. Especially because most of the interesting sights are within walking distance, and there are many bus stops nearby.
My only complaint is that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. If not for that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I return to Macau.

The hotel room is very nice and spacious as we just come back from HK. The toilet is 4x bigger than the HK one. Compare to HK's accomodation, Metropole is Heaven.
Is near to casino and walking distance from the "Tai Sam Pah" tourist area, very convinient.

the only plus factor of the hotel is its accessibility to senado square and several hotels/casinos. the front desk staff was not accomodating at all, the bed was so hard (like lying down on wood), and there was no breakfast
