We had a great stay at the Shanker Hotel. When we first arrived in Kathmandu we stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, very friendly staff and the garden and swimmingpool area are great.
We liked it so much, we stayed here again returning from our trekking.

I enjoyed the ambience of this place, only one night, but I will go back. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The buildin is a restored palace set in a great garden, but the room I had was recently renovated and everything worked: an indicator: They had the softest towels I have ever had.
