overall good hotel, but rooms in japan are to small, no television programmes in english except cnn. not many staff speak english.

A bit of a mixture though overall perfectly acceptable. Good location from Shinjuku, once you get your bearings and don't mind a 10 minute walk. Rooms are small by western standards but pretty average by Japanese standards. What was disappointing was the poor air conditioning - I dread to think how hot the room would be in stifling Japanese summer (I went in early spring). The lobby/reception is a bit bewildering too but the restaurants including the breakfast buffet were excellent.
Airport bus is a bonus for those new to Tokyo.
